There’s no denying that CBD, whether it be oil, gummies, flower, topicals, tinctures, soft gels or even drinks is the buzzy wellness product right now. The FDA approved, CBD also know as cannabidiol, is a chemical compound from the Cannabis sativa plant. You’ve probably heard the words cannabis, marijuana, and hemp all jumbled in relation to CBD. The sativa cannabis plant has two primary species, hemp and marijuana. Both hemp and marijuana contain CBD, but there’s a much higher percentage of CBD in hemp and much lower levels of THC. It is THC, not CBD, that creates the ‘high-feeling’ people associate with cannabis use.

It will also not increase your appetite, therefor you wont get the munchies and you can’t overdose on CBD, but dosage is personal. Always remember to start low and go slow. Tolerance levels can change as time passes, meaning cannabis effects are different for experienced consumers versus new users.

What is the difference between CBD Oil and CBD Spray?

CBD oil is made by extracting CBD from the cannabis plant, then diluting it with a carrier oil such as coconut or hemp seed oil. CBD oil has gained lots of momentum over the years, being used in the year 2020 by 33% of Americans, a 19% increase from 2019 (no current Canadian statistics available) and can now be found in almost every cannabis dispensary near you. 

Like CBD oils or tinctures that are taken orally, CBD spray has a high bioavailability. This is due to how CBD spray is consumed – being sprayed under the tongue. The tongue’s mucous membranes are filled with tiny capillaries, allowing for quicker absorption into the bloodstream. The main difference between CBD oil and CBD spray is CBD sprays are infused with other supplements strictly selected to help users with specific conditions.
