Hunger knows no boundaries, and at Farmer Jane, we’re driven by a sense of responsibility to address this pressing issue. Our food drive is a testament to our commitment to giving back to the community we serve. The annual food drive raises funds, food and awareness for Food Banks in the communities where Farmer Jane operates in an effort to ensure no one goes hungry.
Since 2020, Farmer Jane has donated more than 130,000 meals to Food Banks in both provinces to the Regina Food Bank, Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre and Harvest Manitoba to help fight hunger.
In 2023 we raised 50,000 meals with the support of our team, partners and customers. Together, we’re doing our part to help fight food insecurity in our community.
Reconciliation is not a one-time event; it is a multi-generational journey that involves all Canadians.
We recognize the importance of acknowledging and honouring the history and experiences of Indigenous communities. Our commitment to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is driven by a desire to promote understanding, reconciliation, and unity. One of our talented Budtenders, Anna Gareau, designed a piece inspired by the work of her grandmother’s traditional artwork. Through this piece we accept donations in September towards the Indian Residential School Survivors Society.
By commemorating this day, we stand in solidarity with Indigenous peoples, fostering a culture of respect and awareness.
Farmer Jane celebrates Pride because we believe in the power of diversity and inclusivity. Our commitment to creating a safe and inclusive space for all stems from a belief in equal rights and representation for everyone, no matter their gender or sexuality. This is something we strive to support all year round – in the month of June we emphasize this through numerous initiatives, partnering with like minded producers to support local LGBTQIA2S+ charities.
Donations go to Lulu’s Lodge in Regina, OutSaskatoon, and Rainbow Resource Centre in Winnipeg.
The holiday season is a time for spreading joy and kindness. At Farmer Jane, our “12 Days of Giving” initiative embodies the spirit of generosity that defines this time of year. Each store gets to pick the charity their donation goes to, reflecting a cause that is close to their hearts.
Through this tradition, we aim to make the holiday season brighter for those less fortunate, reinforcing our belief in the power of compassion and the joy of giving.

Our recycling programs in both Saskatchewan and Manitoba is an innovative and collaborative solution that repurposes waste into reusable products. It was created in an effort to keep our communities greener, and support an emerging green, circular economy in this industry.
Through this, we are supporting local businesses like ArtsJunktion and ReFill Market in Winnipeg, and EDY Project based out of Coronach Saskatchewan.
