Annual Food Drive to Fight Hunger has Raised 370,000 Meals
Hunger knows no boundaries, and at Farmer Jane Cannabis, we’re driven by a sense of responsibility to address this pressing issue. Our food drive is a testament to our commitment to giving back to the community we serve. The annual food drive raises funds, food, and awareness for Food Banks in the communities where Farmer Jane operates, in an effort to ensure that no one goes hungry.
Since 2020, Farmer Jane Cannabis Co. has donated more than 370,000 meals to Food Banks in both provinces, including the Regina Food Bank, Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre, and Harvest Manitoba, to help fight hunger.

Paws for a Cause: supporting local animal shelters
At Farmer Jane, we believe in giving back to the communities we call home, including our furry friends. This year, we created a limited-edition dog calendar to raise funds for local animal shelters and rescues. Thanks to the support of our customers and team, we’re proud to donate approximately $10,000–$15,000 to Humane Societies in Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg.
Every dollar raised helps provide food, medical care, and shelter for animals in need. #FarmDogFriday
PRIDE
Farmer Jane Cannabis Co. celebrates Pride because we believe in the power of diversity and inclusivity. Our commitment to creating a safe and inclusive space for all stems from a belief in equal rights and representation for everyone, no matter their gender or sexuality. This is something we strive to support all year round and each June, we emphasize this through numerous initiatives, partnering with like minded producers to support local LGBTQIA2S+ charities.
Since 2022, Farmer Jane has donated $73,567 to Lulu’s Lodge in Regina, OUTSaskatoon, and Rainbow Resource Centre in Winnipeg.
Environmental Stewardship
Over the last few years, we’ve raised enough funds to plant 39,204 trees globally, helping to restore B.C.’s forests after wildfires, sequestering carbon, protecting biodiversity, and supporting local tree planters.
To kick off the initiative in 2024, Farmer Jane planted 10 trees for every one of its employees and throughout the year, we raised enough to plant 10,000 trees. In 2025, we built on this success and planted another 11,700 trees in the Cariboo Region for Earth Month. In 2026, we raised the bar again and planted 12,500 trees here in Canada. Our impact went global these past 2 years, as we planted an additional 500 trees in Senegal and 579 Mangroves in Brazil & East Africa.
Wildfire Emergency Relief
This year’s wildfires swept across the Prairies with devastating speed, forcing evacuations, destroying homes, and impacting entire communities in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. In response, Farmer Jane proudly donated $1,200 to the Red Cross Emergency Relief Fund. Thanks to the Red Cross matching program, our donation grew to $3,000 — a direct result of support from our team and customers.
Truth &
Reconciliation
Farmer Jane Cannabis Co. is proud to operate on the traditional territories of the Treaty 1, Treaty 4, and Treaty 6 lands, and the homeland of the Métis Nation. We recognize the enduring presence and deep traditions of the First Nations and Métis peoples who continue to care for these lands.
Since 2022, we’ve raised and donated more than $5,000 to organizations supporting Truth and Reconciliation, including the Regina Newoyotina Friendship Centre, Saskatoon Community Foundation Fund for Reconciliation, and the Winnipeg Bear Clan Patrol.
We remain committed to fostering understanding, respect, and reconciliation in all communities we serve.
