Did someone say Cannabis-Infused Brownies?
When it comes to making cannabis-infused edibles from scratch, pot brownies may hold the title of being the most popular homemade edibles. The soft, chewy, and chocolaty treats are a great reward after a long day, are a wonderful mood booster, and are a great gift to send to a loved one or friend. Though you can buy brownie edibles at Farmer Jane’s store, sometimes Farmer Jane likes to get crafty in the kitchen and make her own pot brownies. Here is how she makes her cannabis-infused brownies.
1/2 cup of unsalted butter
1/4 cup of cannabutter
1 1/2 cups bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 cup packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly butter or spray a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
In a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and cannabutter.
Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, and chopped chocolate into a mixing bowl and add it to the butter mixture. Remove from the heat and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs until foamy, then whisk in the vanilla.
Add the two mixtures together, add the flour mixture slowly, and beat together until blended and no clumps of flour remain.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the top just starts to crack and is glossy. Remove from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack before cutting.
No worries, Farmer Jane also sells brownies.
