Why I use Cannabis, Not Just “Smoke Weed” – A Balance(d) Story
So, when did we start with the whole cannabis thing anyway? It seemed like only high-snobbery connoisseurs were using the word a few years back, but the times they are a-changin’!
My main reason for the switch? I don’t want nor need to be intoxicated all the time (see: smokin’ the weed)… So, yeah, I use cannabis… In its entirety.
Let’s look at a nice balanced product, Emprise’s Balance – CBN: CBG, which is my go-to nighttime routine these days! As per usual with Emprise, they have used a full-spectrum extract, as well as a hemp seed oil as a carrier (to maintain the “Entourage Effect”).
CBN (the sleepy time cannabinoid) is the end game for cannabinoids after oxidation, leaving the calming and sleepy stuff behind… CBG, on the other hand, is the Mother of Cannabinoids, and can only be found in higher amounts during premature stages of cannabis growth… this Momma tends to aid me in focus, and some mood stabilizing as well. All with OUT the high…
So why the heck are we using BOTH at once, Ryan? Geez… Simple! Because together they help me reduce my stress, stay in the moment for that binge session (working through Severance, so no heckin spoilers!), and help promote a decent (and restorative) night’s sleep as well. FINALLY, I get to write about a strain whose lineage still makes sense, The Almighty BLUE CHEESE!! This wompa whomper strain is a backcross of Blueberry (droooool) and UK Cheese (Oui Oui), and the end result is a cheese and berry combo that hits the nose almost like a blue cheese (hmmm, imagine that!). THC levels above 20% means this strain ain’t no joke, either!
Leading terps of myrcene, limonene, and caryophyllene help the high to lean you into a mix of euphoria and deep relaxation, with juuuust enough of the plant’s sativa side to leave you lively, and thinkin on your toes! Defo a nightside, easy times, smoke and relax strain…
