THC and CBD Edibles
Once you’ve decided whether you’re in a gummie mood or looking to meet your chocolate cravings, next you have to pick what kind of vibe you’re going for. This vibe check refers to picking between the dosages of CBD and THC.
First, let’s take a moment to explain the difference between THC and CBD.
CBD
Both CBD and THC are natural compounds derived from the same plant – cannabis. CBD (A.K.A. Cannabidiol) in recent years, has become increasingly popular due to its many benefits. The main differentiator between CBD and THC is that CBD is considered a “non-psychoactive” compound. In other words, it will make you feel good physically but won’t get you high or change in human consciousness.
THC
THC (A.K.A. Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive chemical found in cannabis that has mind-altering effects. THC causes people to experience feelings of euphoria.
Another key point when choosing your desirable CBD and THC levels… the higher the CBD to THC ratio, the less high you’ll get. Because CBD counteracts the psychoactive effects of THC.

Sativa and Indica Edibles
Sativa and Indica are the two primary strains of cannabis. Sativa causes a more functional, uplifting, and energetic effect. Following consumption, you typically feel a little more creative and goofy. On the other hand, Indica leaves you desiring to chill out on the couch and feel a bit more relaxed and sedated.
“I always think of Sativa and Indica as high and stoned”

How many Edibles should I have?
This answer is dependant on many variables, as everyone’s body, digestion and metabolism, and tolerance are very different. If you’re new to edibles, the best advice we can give you is: Go low and start slow.
For a first-timer, Farmer Jane recommends 5 mg (half of an adult single serving). This amount will not overwhelm you and makes for a great starting point to see how your body reacts.
