The relationship between cannabis and munchies is similar to that of ketchup and mustard, milk and cookies, or peanut butter and honey.  For those with even a casual knowledge of cannabis, the notion that the herb causes the consumer to turn to snacks immediately is embedded in the brain. Here at Farmer Jane, we know when you consume our products, there is a high probability you will be either end up searching the pantry and fridge or hopping on your phone to search up some food places near you to get some much-needed munchies. Farmer Jane has sought out some fantastic local places in Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg that are a must to try when you have a serious case of the munchies.  This month we would like to highlight one of our favourite local food places to go to, The Shoppe.

Just like Farmer Jane, The Shoppe is all about the in-store aesthetic and supplying customers with some pretty good products. From what started in Saskatoon in May 2021, The Shoppe is an upscale venue that features a gourmet candy selection from the Netherlands and Spain. They carry an assortment of cold treats such as Cookie Dough, Dippin’ Dots and La Shorberteria and hard and soft candies. The Shoppe has gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and no sugar options with both their paletas and candies. Not only are they worth checking out for their sweet treats, but they also provide a really cool in-store experience. The Shoppe is known for being highly photogenic and Instagram-worthy inside.
