Farmer Jane’s Summer of Community ☀️
At Farmer Jane, we know community means everything. Whether it’s stepping up during tough times or showing up to celebrate, we believe in making a difference right here at home in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. This summer, we seized every opportunity to give back, support our neighbours, and embody our core values — all while sharing good times, kindness, and #PrettyGoodWeed along the way.
🌈 Celebrating Pride Across the Prairies
Pride has always been about more than a parade — it’s about love, inclusion, and standing with the LGBTQ2S+ community every single day. This summer, we put those values into action by donating $15,000 to organizations making a real difference across the Prairies: Lulu’s Lodge, Rainbow Resource Centre, and OUTSaskatoon. These incredible groups provide safe housing, mental health support, resources, and advocacy for LGBTQ2S+ youth and community members in our Prairie communities.
But giving back isn’t just about writing a cheque. We showed up loud, proud, and full of Farmer Jane spirit — at Pride parades in Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg. Armed with free water bottles, ice-cold freezies, and Farmer Jane tattoos, our team hit the streets to spread joy, unity, and positivity. We believe every person deserves to feel welcome — in our stores, in the cannabis community, and in every space we’re part of. Special thanks to our Pride Month sponsors — WYLD, Palmetto, Spinach, ufeelu, and Oceanic, for standing with us. And a big shout-out to the Farmer Jane Pride Committee, whose passion, hard work, and heart helped us raise funds and awareness throughout the month.
At Farmer Jane, being humble, relatable, and inclusive isn’t just a campaign — it’s who we are.
🔥 Standing Together During the Prairie Wildfires
This year’s wildfire season hit close to home — literally. Saskatchewan and Manitoba faced one of their worst wildfire seasons on record, with over 3 million hectares burned combined and thousands of residents forced to evacuate. Communities across the Prairies were devastated, and smoke blanketed our skies for weeks.
When disaster strikes, we believe in stepping up. That’s why Farmer Jane donated $1,200 to the Canadian Red Cross Emergency Relief Fund — knowing our donation would be matched 2× in Saskatchewan and 3× in Manitoba, bringing our total impact to $3,000. These funds helped deliver food, water, shelter, and emergency support to families affected by the fires.
Giving back during times of crisis is part of what we stand for. From sharing resources with customers during air quality alerts to checking in with our communities, we showed up in ways big and small. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about cannabis, it’s about caring for our neighbours and investing in the communities that support us.
🚀 Growing Community Through Cannabis
Farmer Jane is proud to call the Prairies home, with 18 cannabis stores across Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Whether it’s helping a customer find the perfect pre-roll, stocking the latest THC vapes, or offering up some friendly advice on edibles and concentrates, we’re all about down-home customer service with a community-first mindset.
We believe great cannabis is only part of the story. Our mission is to create spaces that feel welcoming, humble, and adventurous — where everyone from first-timers to seasoned cannabis fans feels right at home. With events like Pride, community initiatives, and neighbourhood leadership, we’re always looking for ways to give back, connect, and be part of something bigger than ourselves.
🧭 Our Identity: Giving Back is Who We Are
At Farmer Jane, our core values guide everything we do:
Be humble and relatable — Whether you’re a first-time customer or a regular, we make sure you feel welcome.
Give back to the community — We support the people and causes that matter most in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Provide down-home customer service — We know your name, your favourite strains, and we always have time for a chat.
Invest in and bet on our teams — Our people are our strength, and we’re committed to helping them grow.
Be adventurous — We’re not afraid to try new things, whether it’s innovative cannabis products or new ways to give back.
This summer was proof that when community calls, Farmer Jane answers. Whether we’re standing tall with the LGBTQ2S+ community, stepping up for wildfire relief, or simply doing what we love — sharing great cannabis with great people — we’re proud to be part of the heart of the Prairies.
We’re more than just a cannabis store. We’re your neighbour, your friend, and your community partner. Thanks for being part of our story — we can’t wait to see where the next season takes us.
Highest Regards,
