What are the 12 Daze of Giving?
The 12 Daze of Giving are twelve consecutive days of small acts of giving to local non-profits organizations in the community. Here at Farmer Jane, we have 11 store locations and a head office across Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg, which equates conveniently to 12 different locations. Each Farmer Jane location, as a team came together to select a charity of choice to which they wanted to donate to for their select day on the 12 Daze of Giving calendar. This donation (dollar amount or value amount) goes to a community initiative/charity of choice in hopes to spread kindness and create a positive impact.
Farmer Jane 8th Street and Canopy Growth
Today on the third day on the 12 Daze of Giving Calendar Farmer Jane Grant Park will be donating to The Lighthouse Supported Living. This community initiative could not be done alone. With the support of our friends at Canopy Growth, we were able to donate money to the charity.
Lighthouse Saskatoon
The Lighthouse is a supported living, emergency shelter, and affordable housing provider offering a range of services to people experiencing homelessness and poverty to help them overcome barriers and live their best life. The Lighthouse has over 215 people under our roof in downtown Saskatoon each night supported in a variety of person-centered programs. Its mission is to end chronic homelessness through effective programs, partnerships, and advocacy. Here at Farmer Jane, we support this mission.
