For the month of July we have teamed up with an awesome producer, BZAM Cannabis to give back to our communities, and give our customers some killer deals! BZAM Cannabis manages three amazing cannabis companies, these being BZAM themselves, Ness and Table Top! If you come into any of our Farmer Jane locations throughout the month of July and purchase any product by these producers, $1 of every purchase is being donated to Agape Table in Winnipeg, Classic Law in Saskatoon and the Newo Yotina Friendship Centre in Regina.

Here at Farmer Jane, to help bring attention to local charities and to show our support to the Indigenous peoples in our communities, we have partnered up with BZAM and are donating $1 of every BZAM, Ness or Table Top product sold to deserving non-profit organization. BZAM supported this decision of donating monetary compensation as their values closely align with this! Here at Farmer Jane we strive to make every customer, employee and consumer feel welcome into our space. We are happy to show our support through this initiative by volunteering our time at all of these local charities! The organizations our proceeds are going to include:

Agape Table

Agape Table in Winnipeg is an independent, charitable, non-profit organization established and maintained to help feed our city’s most vulnerable people. Their core values tightly align with ours here at Farmer Jane. They believe in treating their guests with dignity, respect, compassion, and joy. They are committed to uplifting their staff and providing meaningful volunteer opportunities to make a difference in the community. Agape Table provides a bagged meal for breakfast for men, women, children, house at risk individuals, homeless people and low income seniors and families, single parents, people with disabilities, newcomers to the city and many more. Their work in the community truly makes a difference for all types of people, for any class of life. We are extremely proud to be teaming up with BZAM Cannabis to provide donations, on top of volunteer hours our staff are committing to, to Agape Table in Winnipeg.

Classic Law

Classic Law in Saskatoon provides free legal programming, services, and support for people who experience poverty and injustice. On top of this, it is also a clinical legal education site. Operating in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, CLASSIC has provided service to the community since February 2007. Classic is committed to social justice, decolonization, and the dignity of all people. Their vision is to create a better future where people are supported by fair and equitable laws and systems, which allow them to thrive. This is something that our company fully believes in. We couldn’t be more proud to have a team of like-minded individuals willing to donate their time and money to such a good cause.

Newo Yotina Friendship Centre

The Newo Yotina Friendship Centre in Regina is a non-profit organization that supports urban Indigenous people and families living within the City of Regina. They provide services and programming that facilitate the holistic health and growth of community members. Friendship Centres are Canada’s most significant off-reserve Indigenous service delivery infrastructure and are the primary providers of culturally enhanced programs and services to urban Indigenous residents. For over half-a-century, Friendship Centres have been facilitating the transition of Indigenous people from rural, remote and reserve life to an urban environment. For many Indigenous people, Friendship Centres are the first point of contact to obtain referrals to cultural based socio-economic programs and services.
