Weβre proud to share the final results of our Earth Month campaign: thanks to the incredible support from our customers and industry partners, 11,700 trees will be planted in the wildfire-affected Cariboo Region of British Columbia. You showed up with purpose from Rochdale Boulevard to Preston Avenue to Grant Park. Every $1 donation and every participating product purchased helped grow something bigger than all of us. Our stores came alive with energy as handwritten leaves filled our in-store trees, so many that we had to build second trees in several locations to keep up. Each leaf represented more than just a treeβit was a reminder that real change takes root when a community comes together.
This milestone was made possible through the incredible partnership with veritree, a global leader in verified ecosystem restoration. With veritreeβs innovative technology and data-driven model, every tree planted is tracked, transparent, and impactful. Their mission to restore critical ecosystems and support biodiversity aligns perfectly with our goals, and weβre honoured to work alongside such a forward-thinking organization. veritree x Farmer Jane π²
Our partnership with veritree marked a milestone momentβnot just for Farmer Jane, but for the cannabis industry as a whole. As the first cannabis retailer to take part in a verified reforestation initiative of this kind, we were proud to lead by example, showing how businesses in our space could be powerful forces for environmental good. By the end of Earth Month 2025, our collective efforts raised the proceeds to plant over 20,000 trees, helping to restore more than 10 hectares of land, remove the equivalent of 18,500 tonnes of COβ from the atmosphere, and generate around 80 workdays for planting crews. These were real, measurable outcomes made possible by the dedication of our teams, customers, and incredible brand partners. Thatβs what progress looked likeβand we hoped it inspired others across the industry to grow with us.
The partnership between veritree and Farmer Jane was built on a shared vision of regeneration, responsibility, and long-term impact. Through our earlier campaigns, we had already raised the funds to plant 13,900 trees, each one a symbol of whatβs possible when community and purpose come together. This past Earth Month became the next chapter in that journey, as we worked toward our ambitious goal of generating proceeds to plant 10,000 more trees in April aloneβand weβre incredibly proud to share that we surpassed that goal, raising enough to plant 11,700 trees in British Columbiaβs wildfire-affected Cariboo Region. Every customer donation, every leaf added to our in-store displays, and every purchase of a participating product brought us closer to that vision.
