Farmer Jane Sativa
To make the original Gorilla Glue, the strains Sour Diesel (Sativa leaning), Sour Dubb (heavily Indica dominant), Chem`s Sister (Sativa leaning), and Chocolate Diesel (India leaning) were combined. It is because of this complex hybridized mix of Sativa and Indica that many interesting chemotypes can be found and isolated.
At Western Cannabis, we hunted through many different chemotypes created from backcrossing the original Gorilla Glue #4. These variations were produced from seed in order to select a more Sativa dominant cultivar similar to the coveted “Josey Whales Phenotype”.
Farmer Jane Indica
The Farmer Jane Indica, Purple Punch, was created by Supernova Gardens in Hawaii by crossing the legendary Larry OG (heavily Indica leaning) with another well-known strain called Grandaddy Purple (Indica leaning). We selected a very trichome-covered, purple chemotype with all the characteristic fruit punch terpene combinations that this strain is known for.
