4 Easy Steps to Building a Pumpkin Bong

Elevate your smoking game with a homemade pumpkin bong

Halloween is creeping up to us fast, so now is the time to get ready for the SPOOKY day and secure that pretty good weed stash. If you’re looking for ways to get creative this Halloween, Farmer Jane is here to share with you the ins and outs on how to make a homemade pumpkin bong to smoke your Halloween weed strains out of.

What you will need

1. A plump pumpkin
2. A screwdriver (or something pokey)
3. A glass downstem (optional)
4. Bowl piece (optional)
5. Knife & spoon
6. A lighter
7. Halloween weed (A.K.A.Halloweed)

Step 1: Carve out a build-in bowl

Start by carving a small bowl into one side of the pumpkin. Your goal here is to make a shallow hemisphere cut as you don’t want to break through the flesh of the pumpkin. Farmer Jane would recommend using a knife to make the initial incision and a spoon to carve out the circular shape. Following your beautifully made carve, take your screwdriver (or something pokey) and poke a tiny hole that goes through the flesh of the pumpkin.

If you have a bowl piece or broken bong then you can use it for your bowl. Instead of carving out a shallow hole, make a round hole that matches the diameter of the bowl piece and pierces through the meat of the pumpkin. It’s important to have a tight hole for your bowl piece as a loose seal will not allow for enough suction and you won’t be able to take quality hits.

Step 2: Carve out your carb

To make a carb, put another small hole on the side of the pumpkin using your screwdriver (or pokey thing). Again, this hole should poke through to the center of the pumpkin.

Step 3: Carve out your mouthpiece

In order to make the mouthpiece, you will need to make another hole. This mouthpiece hole should be poked through on the opposite side of the bowl on the top half of the pumpkin. If you’re unsure as to where to poke all your holes, just picture where they would be located on an actual bong. If you have a glass downstem or broken bong then you can use it for your mouthpiece to your pumpkin bong look extra dope.

Step 4: Pack the bowl and light it up!

Grab your favourite lighter and some Halloweed and enjoy the spirit of Halloween smoking out of a pumpkin bong.
