According to Houseplant, Houseplant celebrates weed because they truly believe that it is a plant unlike any other. In a world that has about 391,000 species of plants, this is quite the statement. Here at Farmer Jane, we couldn’t agree more with this statement.

Houseplant was co-founded by Canadian-American actor and comedian Seth Rogen and Canadian screenwriter Evan Goldberg. The two shared a passion for weed and launched Houseplant in Canada in April 2019, one year after the legalization of recreational cannabis. Houseplant first launched its first strain of cannabis known as Houseplant Sativa and has since grown to include Houseplant Indica and Houseplant Hybrid as part of their selection.  They sell pre-rolled joints, dried cannabis flower, and soft gels among other cannabis products. Some favourite Houseplant products sold at Farmer Jane include Houseplant Grapefruit Sparkling Water,  Houseplant Sativa Flower, and the Houseplant Indica Pre Rolls.

This just in…  Houseplant has just announced that “today we announce that after three years of a successful joint venture, Houseplant and Canopy Growth have mutually agreed to end their relationship. While some houseplant cannabis products will continue to be available to retailers through the end of September 2021, you won’t be able o find Houseplant in Canada as of later this year. This isn’t goodbye, it’s simply “See you later” – We are currently planning for a future relaunch in the Canadian market.” The good news is Houseplant will still be available through online purchase and available in the United States. Who’s down for a Houseplant road trip?

Farmer Jane has the answer! Yes, Houseplant will be discontinued in the fall… but for now, we have all of their products available in all Farmer Jane stores.
